Where did you get your so-called “facts”?
From newspapers, from talk shows, from the “internet”?
Does each one have a “prejudice”, a “point of view” to get across?
Do you believe everything you read?
Does your Government have a “point of view”?
Do you try to “convince” on the internet?
Do you have a “point of view”?
Do you “seek” new information by “sharing your present knowledge”, or do you try to convince people?
It’s all in your presentation!
Do you present your opinions as statements of “facts” or are you careful to present your opinions as your “present opinions”?
“Facts” are a preliminary to an “argument”! ….. “Personal opinions” invite discussions!
Do you seek new knowledge or do you wanna’ fight?
Obviously, the news media, or the talk show hosts have a point of view to get across, or, they wanna’ fight!
Do you want to join them?
Do you present your opinions as statements of “facts” or are you careful to present your opinions as your “present opinions”?
The past “voting procedure” and the “tea party” incidents are perfect examples of people who have lost their sense of “reason”, their sense of “new facts”!
Well, where are the facts?
The facts continue to be in the minds of people who are curious. People who are “informed” from wide sources of information. People who continue to challenge their sources. People who constantly continue to look for new information. People who want to “share”….. NOT fight!

#7900 - #26 - “CREDIT” is a dirty word!
Unregulated “Credit” is a dirty word!
Unregulated “anything” usually becomes a dirty word!
Where else in the world can you buy a home for 5% down?
Where else can you have “credit” whenever you want it?
Isn’t “un-regulated competition” a mark of “capitalism?
Isn’t “winner take all” a mark of capitalism?
Isn’t the desire “to get ahead” a human characteristic?
Isn’t the desire to live a “better life” a human characteristic?
Isn’t the desire to “do better than your neighbor” a human characteristic?
Well, the “un-regulated” part, “the lack of public transparency” part, is why we’re trouble.
Can you imagine anyone loaning money and not wanting to be paid back?… (yes, insisting on being paid back)
Can you imagine that you would invent a scheme, or in any way to harm your friends or business partners?
Can you imagine that you would invent a scheme to hide bad “loans” from people who couldn’t or wouldn’t pay back the money loaned to them?
That’s what happened, folks!
Without “public transparency”, without “appropriate regulation”, the human beings went wild! They abounded the principles of intelligent loaning… (their own accounting rules, their own actuarial tables, their own experiences…..) Without some kind of Public oversight, the capitalistic spirit went wild!
The desire “to do better than your neighbor” went wild!
The desire to abandon you neighbor or your business adversary was a thing of the past!
Even the poorly though out desire to have everyone own his/her own home was a thing devoutly to be wished for, but impossible for a capitalistic society to achieve. Even our own present, Government had a poor thought but kept on insisting on it.
So, here we are folks!
We do have choices!!..... We can do nothing or we can avoid doing nothing by having the attitude that “whatever we attempt to do” won’t affect the out come OR we can change our whole government by our vote.
OR,
We, as in other countries, can wait for the armed insurrection of the ordinary groups of people who have finally come to their wits end and have no other choices.
