“It can’t be changed!”
If you’re up to someone who has already changed his mind and no new facts can make a change; it would be wise to stop the discussion there! ..... The person is all “entrenched” and has “ALL” THE facts his/her personality will not allow a new fact to enter in the conversation; you might as well stop there!
If “life long voting” habits are not changeable by word of mouth, or by incident, or by a new fact; you might as well stop there!
People who vote for a party automatically, because their granddaddy or their father voted in such a way that their viewpoint didn’t change no matter what the facts were, were also part of “you might as well stop there!”

#7900 - #56 - The Importance of “To Know”
“To Know” is to “Understand”.
What further do you have to investigate? Isn’t the purpose of your “communication” to be understood? Why did you communicate in the first place?
How do you know if the other party “knows” what you mean; other than by his reaction?
Is it “too late”?
“To Know” is to “Understand”.
How do you really understand “ahead of time”?
Is it in your previous relationship? If so; what does it tell you?
Well then, what is the harm?
It is “harmful” only if your previous relationship is one in which you have relied on too heavily and the result of “failure to understand” bears too “heavy a burden” on the actual results (based on the actual facts, as known by a few)
So, what is one to do?
One can incorporate such detail, in the initial communication, that a normal person could react in a normal way. Don’t leave it to chance! Fill it with too much detail! The fault remains yours in any case!
Most cases of “misunderstanding” are yours! REGARDLESS!
Please add to your initial communication any details that might subtract from a “misunderstanding”!
YOU are the cause!

They continue to do absolutely “nothing”

They continue having their old discussions although the stakes have changed.
Most people are afraid of change…..change of any thoughts !

Most people think that ”Thinking” is a diversion … away from their “regular business affairs”. It should be on their “regular calendar”!
Thinking is HARD!......Thinking is WORK! ……. Just thinking about alternative ways ……a better way to do something, etc.!

#7900 - #53 - What the General Publick actually does
The General Public actually does the following:
1. It does nothing because it’s “too busy” with home finances, ball game results, neighbor’s problems, etc., etc.
2. It does not join any local protest groups because it believes that local protest groups are ineffectual….. (Don’t do any good)
3. It somehow refuses to accept any responsibity for its lack of results.
4. It feels it is someone else’s duties and obligations.
5. It feels an all around lack of “responsibility”.
The General Public should not be allowed to continue to;
1. Usually buries its head in trivia with its lack digression,
2. It makes the influence of the media with its extra lack of digression to make new laws and regulations that much of the time were ludicrous
3. It makes the “few intellects” want to throw up when it perceives what is actually going on.
4. It makes the general Public rely more on the lack of disgressions of the managers of policy and more of the Lindsey, Patrick Hilton, variety.
5. It makes the “sudo” liberals and the somewhat jaded Radio and T.V. viewers into more hectic activity.
6. It makes a whole lot of new “truth-savers” quote the media as its “source”. (I heard, etc.)
What is the answer?
The judicial use of the “announcement” (referred to blog #52)
A “MEANINGFUL” meeting where exchanging thoughts is the name of the game rather than political gamesmanship becoming “the game of the day”.
IS SUCH A MEETING POSSIBL?...... It had better be otherwise we’ve lost our Country!!!!
Should the General Public be allowed to continue its wasteful ways? Who’s to start criticizing the General Public and show them a new way?......, (Certainly not a “vote getter!”)

#7900 - #52 - About this Consensus Idea
How do you go about getting the most responsible people to one, location, at one time, for anything!!!
Who chooses the “most responsible”?...What’s their category? ….etc,etc
First, a public announcement should be made indicating what the Purpose of this meeting its importance (especially at this time) and the type of “people movers” and “opinion givers” that already people will listen to.
The announcement should be constructed in such a way that it insures the privacy and the legal requirements of complete privacy that no one should be able to challenge its position in these debates.
The announcements should express the exclusivity and the national importance of being a part of this decision making.
The announcement should make the group of “people movers” eager to be asked.
The announcement should be the heart of this enterprise. It should answer the questions posed or anticipated in the opening of this blog.
The people we are considering can “read and write”, They should be comfortable when reading this.
A lot depends on whether they feel they have been given a hand to share in the future of this country.
As you can see, a lot depends on how this announcement “comes across”.
We are supposed to have the world leaders in thought. Are we up to the challenge?...(Where no party issues get into the way of this process. Where we have an “a political discussion” based “not on vote getting” but rather based on “what’s good for the country”.)
We are creating an atmosphere of intellect versus something else.
Is this a positive thing? We won’t know unless we tried!!!
But first of all is the announcement!!!

#7900 - #50 - Uninformed Public
September 10, 2010 (Blog # 50)
Well, last time I subjected you to warnings, this time I‘m going to tell you “what this “confusion” is all about”?
You see everyone wants their opportunity to be spokesperson. A “Spokesperson” for any idea they may have; whether political or not. The situation of the “Mosque” in New York, the multiple fires in the U.S.; the many recent fatal air accidents; anything. With enough attention by the media anything is made important and the personality that announces it becomes “personality, a sort of “spokesperson for the hour”.
With everyone trying to be “spokesperson for the hour” the media is filled with nonsense. It’s interesting nonsense otherwise the producers of this nonsenes wouldn’t be making the money they’re making.
The result is an “uninformed public that doesn’t know how uninformed it really is”!
The bigger issues such as: Can the U.S. economy ever live up to the promises given out at the last election ….Welfare and the big Medical promises? Even if the economy was running at its projected “full speed”? Does any economy afford this reality? …… Can we raise to a Pay Level that means everyone has its own level of spending?....... Does reality and the “Do’s and the “Don’ts” of the Real World set in? .. Or are we to believe these incredible promises made by the intellectually able people we are subjected to on the media.
Talk about being uninformed!!!
Hardly ever are we confronted with a truly National question?
Is the media to blame or do we have to look in the mirror more often?
How can the economy survives the terrible strains and still provide the solid basis which Americans have been promised….Unlimited Healthcare and Welfare payments. No other successful society has done it. To be promised something that is “open ended” is to fight “creditability”.
No where are these questions asked. Despite the media coverage of the “trivia of the day” and their producer’s “spokesperson” I don’t see the coverage. Perhaps it is too bleak. The poor under -in formed public!!!!
Everyone wants somebody to listen to them pontificate on something. It’s a natural thing. But to use this sort of communication for these purposes is an affront to the sensibilities. Everyone wants to be a “spokes person” at some level.
